Purpose:
Goals/Objectives: To recognize that each season in our life has a purpose and that we need not be restless in our current state. Instead we can utilize this opportunity to expound on the God-given potential within us. Philippians 4:11-13, Ecclesiastes 3:1. To encourage Godly/healthy self image and reiterate God’s desire for us to be whole and maintain a relationship with Him.  It first starts with loving God and loving ourselves. Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 19:19. To reinstate that “single” does not “lonely” by providing fellowship, encouragement and support to those who are unmarried. Hebrews 10:24-25. To enhance the positive aspects of life which will replace the stigma felt with being a single adult -never married, widowed  or divorced (We are all God’s children and he loves us; thus, all shame felt from being single should be released).  Romans 8:31-39. To encourage accountability and steadfastness in life as a Christian single.  Proverbs 27:17.
